The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, promoting the success and growth of Wasco. They are responsible for adhering to accounting principles, compliance with laws and regulations, and best accounting practices.
Wasco is a family-owned and operated business that engineers, manufactures, and sells the best pressure sensors. Wasco switches are used in semiconductor manufacturing, fire suppression, military vehicles and many other markets, but our mission starts with our team.

General Requirements
Education minimum: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Experience minimum: 5+ years of financial experience
Job Duties
Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
Oversee the operation and development of the company’s finance department, including:
Creating and reviewing policies,
Billing,
Accounts receivable,
Cash receipts
Collections,
Accounts payable,
Payroll,
General ledger,
Forecasting,
Budgeting,
Internal controls, and
Conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations; monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.
Assist with cash flow forecasting.
Advise team members and management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
Assure timely and accurate payroll processing including verification of system interfaces, balancing of payroll, and tax data.
Review tax payments and quarterly tax reports.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Adhere to all Manager Expectations.
Understand, fully support, and demonstrate Wasco’s mission statement, core values, and operating principles.
Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and ERP systems
Strong analytical skills
Financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a collaborative management style
Ability to manage financials for multiple entity structures
Ability to handle revenue of over $40 million

Compensation: $95k - $110k/yr
