The Quality Inspector is responsible for all receiving, in-process, and final inspection activates using variable and/or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure product conforms to requirements.

General Requirements

  • Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum Experience Requirement - 1 year within a product manufacturing environment

Job Duties

  • Perform receiving inspection of all items delivered to ensure parts and proper paperwork have been delivered

  • Perform incoming inspection of raw material and components to ensure conformance to engineering specifications and purchase order requirements

  • Perform in-process inspections and tests of sub-assemblies to ensure conformance to Labor Router requirements.

  • Perform final inspection of completed products to ensure conformance to engineering specifications and customer requirements

  • Perform inspection and investigation of products returning from the field

  • Document the results of all inspection, test and investigation activity on the appropriate forms, logs and reports

  • Ensure measuring and test equipment is operational and has a valid calibration status

  • Support the Quality Manager in various improvement initiatives

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Understand and demonstrate Wasco Core Values

Skills & Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of GD&T and drawing interpretation

  • Ability to use precision measuring tools and instruments

  • Effective computer skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Compensation: $20/hr
