The objective of the Inside Sales Representative is to contribute to a high-performance team to ensure customer satisfaction, quality products and services, on-time delivery, and a safe work environment while reinforcing Wasco’s quality and safety policies.

Job Duties:

  • Prime responsibility is to follow up and close inbound Wasco leads

  • Ensure all inbound leads are followed up in a timely manner and all customer questions are answered completely

  • Prepare and provide customers pricing quotes

  • Actively look for ways to increase revenue with assigned customers

  • Develop knowledge of Wasco products/services and customer offers to maximize sales opportunities

  • Collaborate with sales manager and marketing to determine necessary strategic sales approaches

  • Provide website chat-room support

  • Follow up website leads as assigned

  • Assist customers to complete Product Application Worksheets

  • Submit applications for new product ID’s, subject to Technical Sales Manager or Sales Manager approval

  • Interact with Engineering as necessary for specific customer requirements

  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events

  • Prepare internal reports and metrics

  • Complete training and become proficient in Customer Purchase Order Entry and Sales Order Acknowledgement processes, RMA’s, OOR’s

  • Provide back up for Customer Service Representative

  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate CRM/ERP

  • Support and follow up customer service and warranty issues.

  • Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.

  • Ensure all special customer requirements are entered and followed

General Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement: GED or equivalent. BS/BA a plus.

Minimum Experience Requirement: Minimum of 5 years sales  or customer service experience in related field or products.
